All Def Comedy: Tony Rock on His All Def Digital Takeover

Russell Simmons snatched back his HBO crown Saturday, November 12th when he dropped All Def Comedy, an hour-long comedy special that reminds all us 90s kids of the days that finger stayed on the “Last Channel” button. We grown now, so no need to sneak this go round (unless you’re underage in which case… live your life). The hour-long special is based on All Def Digital’s weekly LA “All Def Comedy Live” show, known for turning Wednesday into the hottest night of the week. If you’re in LA, don’t sleep. Judging from the talent in this special, this ain’t just gassin’ them up.

I caught up with the show’s host and comedy mastermind, Tony Rock, and got him to spit some bars on the show, the art of comedy, and the drive of growing up in Brooklyn.

Catch All Def Comedy on HBO, HBO On Demand, HBO GO, and HBO NOW starting Saturday, November 12 at 10pm ET/PT. Featuring Tony Rock, Chris Powell, Zainab Johnson, Kevin Tate, Robert Powell, and Tony Roberts.
