Hasbro has revealed the Black Panther action figure wave. The new action figures coincide with Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther Movie. They went and did it for the culture and I can’t contain myself. Somebody tell me where to find the nearest Bank of Wakanda. I need a loan. Every single Black Panther action figure has got to be mine. That piggy bank is about to get smashed. You gone get these pennies, Hasbro. I’m clearing off an entire shelf for these Black Panther action figures. Shut up and take my money!!
Hasbro revealed several Black Panther action figures that will drop in January of 2018. The action figures include Black Panther, Erik Killmonger, Okoye and Nakia of the Dora Milaje. You know what? Let me just show you where your money is going.
- Black Panther.
Hasbro is giving us a 6 inch Black Panther action figure with the traditional silver lining.
- This set comes with an updated Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, as well as Shuri.
- Yes, you heard me. Shuri is in this this Black Panther package deal.
- Shuri’s Panther gauntlets are also included.
2. Erik Killmonger
Erik Killmonger as the Golden Jaguar got Hasbro showing that detail is everything.
- We’ve got scarification markings on the militant villain and vibranium so you know it’s real.
- Killmonger’s super suit is very similar to Black Panther.
- The golden details and optional booted feet make all the difference.
3. Nakia
Come thru, Hasbro. This is the point in the reveal where Hasbro has me losing my entire ass mind. The Dora Milaje, ya’ll!? Do you see the #Blackgirlmagic that the Black Panther action figures hath bestowed upon us? This action figure of Nakia, as portrayed by Lupita Nyong’o, is everything I never had in my youth.

4. Okoye
Okoye. Oooh, chile. I had to stop and catch my breath on this one. If you don’t know who Okoye is, you will come February. I saved my top pick of Hasbro’s Black Panther action figures for last. The Dora Milaje is everything to me. As the leader of the adored ones, Okoye is giving us warrior realness. You may recognize her as The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira aka Michonne. Who else could play such a righteous protector?
- This action figure is 6 inches of “All Black Woman Everything.”
- Hasbro is giving us Okoye in full Dora Milaje regalia.
- Build-A-Figure
From what I understand, Hasbro will release Okoye as a Build-a-Figure. This means that Okoye’s action figure is completed by collecting all the figures in the Black Panther wave. That’s how they’re taking my checks. There is no way on T’Challa’s green Wakanda that I will go on in life without Okoye by my side on my mantel.
That’s it fam. #BlackPantherSoLit, fam. These collectibles are set to go on sale in January 2018, priced at $19.99 each.
