If, at some point, you opened your window and heard a noise you couldn’t quite explain, you’re not crazy. You weren’t imagining things. What you probably heard was the sound of the nerds of the world sighing with relief because the return of Doctor Who is upon us.
In addition to Peter Capaldi joining the cast as the long awaited Twelfth Doctor, BBC’s recent press release tells us we’re getting another new face. Samuel Anderson will be doing the Companion thing alongside Jenna Coleman as Danny Pink, Clara Oswald’s coworker. Doctor Who premieres Saturday, August 23, so you only have to hold off those invading Daleks for another two months and everything will be fine after that. Until then, enjoy this teaser trailer.
