Sex Criminals #10 Review

Writer: Matt Fraction / Artist: Chip Zdarsky / Publisher: Image

Sex Criminals is a book that is in its own league man. Matt Fraction excels in his story telling, character portrayals but especially when it comes to dialogue. I keep looking at his characters waiting to see what the next thing they say will be. It’s rare talent to be able to evoke laughter from an audience on page man. Fraction does this so easily. LIKE IT’S NOTHING!. What this book lacks in action and super powers it makes up for with such true to life dialogue and conversations. Zdarsky should go into fucking film animation or something man cause the way he is able to capture the heart of detail and show Fraction’s ideas to panels feels like movie magic.

Yo, if you ain’t dying at that shit. Go check a mirror for your reflection cause you might not be existing in the same plane as the rest of us. This issue deals with John seeing his therapist and contemplating being in lesbians, I mean in love. It’s a continuing struggle for him through out the issue but we also got him, Suzie and Anna Kincaid plotting on the self appointed sex police and pooling together what they know about the sexual abilities. The sex-po (ehh I’ll try another nickname next issue) is watching the crew and hating. We get to see more of Rob Rainbows back story as well as why he is in the OBGYN profession. We also see him and Rachel reenact the Neyo “Closer” music video. Oh yeah, and a dual entrance to the quiet is performed as John and Suzie find out that Anna turns into some type of weird sex ghost. Bruh, there’s even more mysteries and even more questions are ahead of us.

GET. THIS. BOOK. NOW!!!
