Kris-Crossover, It Don’t Stop: Favorite Crossover Adventures

Avengers: Infinity War has been out for about a week and already it has become one of the biggest movies of all time, and it’s no surprise. Ten years of movies and planning and careful execution has paid off in a big way and has given us an epic team up for the ages, but let’s not act like this is the first team up we’ve witnessed. Over the years, there have been tons of team up, crossovers, and surprise appearances that’s paved the way for the biggest crossover we’ve seen in film. In honor of this decade long payoff, let’s jump in our DeLorean and take a look back at some of the best team ups in television and movies. The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones   Before there was Iron Man and Captain America, there was Fred Flintstone and George Jetson. Two staples of early cartoon sitcom families, The Flintstones and The Jetsons met in their 1987 movie, The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones. Elroy builds a time machine, (like you do in the future) and a mishap sends the family back in time to the cave man era where George makes quick friends with Fred and Barney until another mishap sends the Flintstones and the Rubbles to the futures where they basically start the hipster movement of thinking old stuff is cool. It wasn’t the greatest movie, but it was still pretty fun. And as far as Hanna-Barbera, it wasn’t even the best crossover we got.
