A New Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Trailer Hit The Cyber Streets

[divider type=”space_thin”] The next Kingdom Hearts game will be Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. They really do have a knack for titles. Quite a lot of shit happens in this trailer and I’m going to do my best to explain it to anyone who might not know all about Kingdom Hearts or who just likes reading about it. Before I begin the class, here’s the trailer to take a gander at. Pretty amazing right? It’s not Kingdom Hearts 3 but it has some elements of it in there. The first part of the trailer is the HD remastering of Dream Drop Distance which was a game for the Nintendo 3DS. The basic story of that game is that Master Yen Sid sends Sora and Riku on a mark of mastery exam that will allow them to become Keyblade Masters. A lot of other stuff happens but I’m not here to spoil that game I’m just here to tell you about this new one which just happens to have that game in it. The next part is probably the most important part. Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep–A Fragmentary Passage is a direct follow up to Birth By Sleep which was a PSP game. Again not gonna spoil that one either but Aqua was a main character in that game. She’s also the Bae of Kingdom Hearts. If you don’t love Aqua get out of my house, you’re no longer welcome here. This will follow Aqua after Birth By Sleep and it also has the Kingdom Hearts 3 hub and gameplay mechanics. So while it’s not KH3 it’s close enough and just as hype because like I said Aqua is the Bae of Kingdome Hearts. The last part of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will be Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, which will tell the story of the Foretellers. They’re a group of Keyblade masters so they’re kind of a big deal. They appeared in Kingdom Hearts X which was a web browser game but has been remade as Kingdom Hearts Unchained X for smartphones. That game is super fun and it’s canon too so you might as well download it on your respective communication devices. Oh and it’s free. The story will be told in HD cinematics and that’s about all we know for now. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will quench our thirst and most likely fill us up with all the Keyblade craziness we can handle before Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out. Square Enix really knows how to hype us up with the smallest amount of trailers and information. Kudos to you Square Enix! So get ready for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue to hit you this December! Oh, try not to lose your keyblades.
