Anime Boston 2016: Getting Pumped for One of the Northeast’s Biggest Geek Gatherings

On March 25th, residents of Boston will once again be swept up in the storm of body pillows, wig caps, and worbla as anime enthusiasts invade every inch of this historic city. The Hynes Convention Center will once again brace itself for the much loved, but intense impact. Not to make it sound like this experience won’t be fun; I’m sure that this year will be outrageously exciting! I can feel it in my bones! Anime Boston is coming!

This anime convention is the 6th biggest convention for anime in North America, run by the New England Anime Society (facts courtesy of Wikipedia). I love me some huge conventions, mostly because there will always be something to do, the pond of individuals will be teeming with unique fish.

The Dealer’s Room is sure to impress, and I’m more than optimistic about the panels and Masquerade. The guests this year are awesome, including convention favorite, Todd Haberkorn, Tony Oliver, Masao Maruyama, and many more. Haberkorn is a pretty funny personality, so I’m sure any of his appearances are bound to be rife with hilarity.

I am thrilled to be a press member for this year’s Anime Boston, and I do hope many of you check this con out. I’ll be making a review post-convention, so keep an eye out for it!
