In perhaps villains most diabolical attempt yet, Black heroes from Detroit and New York City came home only to find their cities changed. The tried-and-true comforts from the hoods they’d come from replaced with the ironic, the tacky, and the flavorless. Had they stumbled into a new multiverse Earth? Perhaps a new reality-warping mutant villain? No….no something much more methodical and subversive had was at play…..
