For ‘Hawkeye’ to be Great Kate Bishop Must Hit the Mark

It always seems like the MCU is 10 steps ahead of everyone in today’s world of entertainment. They’ve run rings around DC, put YA novel movie adaptations on ice, and made those vampire and magician movies a thing of the past. Now that we’ve all enjoyed the 10 year ride that led up to the glory that is Endgame, we’re moving into the silver screen with a slew of B-list characters (with all due respect) that might wind up being one of the smartest decisions in Marvel’s nearly impeccable list of creative moves.

In addition to Hawkeye, Disney+ will be blessing fans with their takes on Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki. As we all know, the global pandemic has changed the game in so many ways, and if any of these shows can can close to the quality of writing from the Captain America movies, the storytelling of Tom King’s Vision, or the genuine humor and lovable mischief of Loki’s previous antics, then Marvel will once again show the superhero genre why they’re leading the charge in every way. This brings me to Hawkeye; the one Avenger that everyoneeee loves to make fun of for being the bow and arrow guy. Little do most of those people know, Matt Friction’s Hawkeye comic is *Chefs kiss*, and will serve as the storytelling basis of the show.
