Kang the Conqueror #4 Review

I haven’t read too many comics I’d consider top notch or get me hype about time travel, but Kang the Conqueror #4 has kept up with the quality. Love is such a played out theme but Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly find a way to keep it fresh and out of this world. Carlos Magno faced one hell of a challenge when Kelly and Lanzing tasked him with bringing these times and realms to life. Luckily, his style lends itself to the rugged and decaying future that Kang finds himself in.  My man Nathaniel ‘Don’t call me Nathan Drake’ Richards is out here in 4086 C.E. with the the chiseled penis chin because his grand plan to have a do-over of his shitty colonistic life left him lonely and lumped up. Of course, his reward is another version of Ravonna, the only thing in time and space that he desires. The soul of the woman who has his heart latched in a timeless cage cannot be mistaken, but the fury in her eyes is incalculable. Nathaniel makes the mistake many men would make while he traverses the annals of time for his doomed destiny. If there’s anything our species has found out in 40,000 years of impulse filled cognitive life, it’s that love is anything but compliant.

I’m all about the way the rest of Kang the Conqueror #4 shakes out. Rejected and hell bent on actualizing his conquering Kang origin story, it all comes down to the last free ruler of Earth. Our planet’s…
