Mighty Avengers #13 Review

We finally reached the culmination of a year’s wait, but we here now and so are the death walkers. Blade’s been captured an is getting the POW treatment, while flashing back to his better half (blade got a better half bae now?!?!) Jacks (Lady Jacqueline Falsworth aka Spitfire) telling him not to go it alone all the time. Meanwhile the Mighty Avengers of old are putting meeting and putting the heat on the new mighty avengers. Loooooooord Al Ewing done cooked up that Barefoot Contessa for us with this issue, and I’ll tell you what. This be that delicious right here. Ewing got this book and its characters on lock, from Jim Lucas meeting the team all of the team, Kaluu being an micro-managing ass in pushing power-man to find Blade’s chi, She-Hulk and Spectrum playing momma bears to Power-man (and shutting Kaluu down), Blade digging deep down get himself the fuck out of Stu Hart’s dungeon and THE GAWD Jim Lucas walking in with that any given Sunday football speech for Power Man.

Shout out to Salvador Larocca on the art and doing the damn thing with the detail!! THATS WHAT I’M TALKING BOUT! FROM NOW ON WHEN YOU WALK IN ON A ROOM TO GIVE A THE COACH FOOTBALL SPEECH, THAT’S HOW YOU DELIVER THAT SHIT!. SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIT Jim Lucas ain’t come up in this piece to mess around.
