Spider-Man #6 Review

Writer: Brian Michael Bendis / Artist: Nico Leon / Marvel Comics I don’t know if yall reading this have noticed the patter but every even issue of Spider-Man Bendis be dropping them race-talk bars. I am legit fed up man. I loved this series and Miles up until this point. Now i just feel fricking… dirty reading this. Turning the page not knowing what “progressive” talk I’m ’bout to be hit with. The worst part is that it’s always falling on me while EIC Will Evans doesn’t have to be tainted with this burden as he reviews every odd issue of Spider-Man and it’s all freaking roses and *insert brand of champagne Titus Andromeda be sipping on*. I don’t like that shit. I don’t like that shit at– Okay. Okay …I’m a good person yo, I pay my taxes, I help people move in or out (on occasion) this shit ain’t fair bruh…I’m tired of this…I’m just… I– I- I-

*Acts as if you didn’t just witness a grown man hit his breaking point* Aaaaaaand we’re back into the swing of Miles’s hectic life this issue. Miles is getting adjusted to a lot of new changes. Fabio (Gold Balls) is his new roommate now. He’s getting over Ganke’s revealing his secret identity (slowly but surely). We get some good dialogue between the new roomies as well this issue dealing with … “The Friend Zone”. As these characters are young (that ain’t no excuse) and boys (that def ain’t no excuse) the whole friend zone topic seems fitting and it was handled with kid gloves and we got the true message in the underlying f…
