The Pull – 05/27/2020: Comics are Out, but Keep Wearing Your Masks

Weekly comic pulls are making a comeback as distributors get back to work, and we, at BNP, are ready with the new reviews. So, without further ado… Here’s what we reviewed in comics this week that you might want to check out: Avengers #33

Avengers #33 is the start of a very promising new arc and as a single issue, it’s one of the best I’ve read in a long time. For the reader and (to an even bigger extent) the Avengers, Moon Knight is kind of treated like the crazy guy that everyone ignores and underestimates. What I liked about it from a character perspective was that it allowed everyone to get out their frustrations about everyone else. Everyone on Earth is harboring some type of feelings toward people, but the Spectre’s possession made the Justice League release all of that to their teammates, fueling the fight.
