Elite Graps for All the Straps: AEW Crash Course and ‘All In: Wembley 2026’ Review

“It’s Wednesday. You know what that means.” I’d like to start by paying tribute to the two AEW stars who passed since the inception of the company – Jon Huber, ring name Mr. Brodie Lee, and Andy Williams, ring name The Butcher.

As tag team and faction specialists, these two brought humor and great work to our TV and Pay-Per-View programs. Brodie Lee tragically passed of illness in 2020, on the day after Christmas. The Butcher passed last week. Rest in peace, gentlemen. So, About Last Week in AEW August 30, 2026, saw one of the biggest shows in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) history: All In: Wembley. Taking place at Wembley Stadium in London, England, the monumental event featured debuts, title changes, and some of the best wrestling of the year. For me, though, it also presented a unique opportunity — the chance to dive back in after a hiatus from the product. 

For reference, this was the last time I watched. Same event, 2 years ago. (image via AEW) In many ways, this event changed the status quo so substantially that it almost serves as a reset button, giving new or lapsed viewers a chance to come back in with far less context than would normally be necessary for that sort of thing. With that said, I wanted to both review the matches that took place on the card and give a brief dossier on where each segment of the AEW product stands after the event. I won’t be reviewing these in order; instead, I’ll break them down into their various divisions and review matches along the way. …
