Hawkeye # 3 Review

Writer: Kelly Thompson / Artist: Leonardo Romero / Marvel Comics

Jessica Jones gonna have to watch the throne because Kate Bishop out here coming for the P.I. crown. We join Biship right as she’s being knocked off the pier by one of the TBC members. Your girl survives due to snark and luck (more heavily the luck), then finds herself piecing together clues from her client’s phone as well as having more of her friends, interns, and associates come together to help her (even against her wishes).

This story is moving funny and dynamic, man. The dialogue never feels like too much and the action is always well placed. Although there wasn’t much this issue we got to see Romero flex Bishop’s powers of observation once again. That hawk vision never gets old and is unique in the situations in which it’s used to help progress a fight or as a plot device.

Y’all gonna bow down to greatness, man. Thompson and Romero are putting in all the paperwork to get through customs so you can’t deny how hard this series goes.
