Legend of Korra: Remembrance

Book Four: Balance / Episode: VIII

Gonna let y’all benders know off the top, this ain’t no fucking Recap, b. I’m a grown ass man with grown ass sensibilities, what I look like doing a recap of a recap? Tarrlock didn’t drop the power glove over the vent on the boat with Amon and make them cats the Fourth of July so I could give you the Inception, recap inside a recap, fam. A gotdamn clips show, benders. And naw, I ain’t talkin about Pusha T handing out that work on stage, I’m talkin about the animation version of “Run That Shit Back.”

Now, lets empathize with the creators some as they let benders know quick how this shit went down.

[quote_simple]”Sometime around a year and a half ago we were similarly duped on a large scale. We got the news from the higher-ups that our Book 4 budget was getting slashed, almost to the tune of an entire episode’s budget. We had two options: 1) let go a significant number of crew members several weeks early, or 2) make a clips episode. We never considered the first option. We weren’t going to do that to our crew, and even if we were callous enough to do so, we never would have been able to finish the season without them.”[/quote_simple]

So unfortunately, naw, I ain’t got a recap for you this week. I mean, its fucked up cuz y’all deserved that shit. I deserved to be playing this shit back and forth like the Zapruder Film and trying to make sure I don’t recylce jokes for y’all. But here we are. No recap. What I do have are some images that articulate how I feel about Nickelodeon’s handling of Korra over the last two Books, all from the Korra Verse. Enjoy, see y’all next week.
