They find a prophecy written in some pre-German language. Enter google translate. It seems like Skeletor needed a Grimm to open the portal so he can escape the other place. Which means, his taunting Eve was all a trick and a trap to get Nick which is all a trick and a trap to get out to get Diana. Good thing they didn’t fall for it. Oh.
