The Importance of Making Space for Black Spaces

Listen, Racism be running wild everywhere. Black folk can’t escape it but what we can do is provide spaces for each other to be safe and celebrated. Tiffie Starchild speaks on the need for these spaces to exist as well as how they are NOT discriminatory against non-Black people. Be clear, everything doesn’t have to be for everyone and that is okay. Yes, there are Black spaces that allow Non-Black folks to participate, all that we ask is that they remember and be aware they are a guest in said space. Don’t go up in there wylin’ out.
