Netflix was sure to send us a news blast about this incredible interview that we all should watch!

In this interview, Iñaki (Iñaki Godoy, Luffy of the world famous, One Piece Live Action Adaptation) & Oda-sensei (GOATED creator of One Piece, of course) sat down for an intimate catch up on Oda’s recent visit to the set in Cape Town, what lies ahead on the Grand Line in Season 2, and how Luffy came to be as a beloved character. This will also be the first time we hear Iñaki fully converse with Oda-sensei in Japanese ever since Iñaki set sail on his journey to learn Japanese earlier this year. Look, this is one of the most wholesome videos that I’ve watched ALL year. Like the Grinch, my small heart grew three sizes today. One Piece is such a global phenomenon in the realms and manga and anime and the live action adaptation pushed the envelope further–Seeing Iñaki eagerly chat up in Oda-sensei ‘s native language and alternatively fanboy and interview Oda is amazing to watch and a lot of fun too. You can see and hear the admiration, the passion, and the love. If you haven’t watched the live action adaptation (or finished it, because I, too, sometimes know that struggling in the streaming age)–this is your biggest and brightest reminder to go watch it now.
