BNP’s Netflix Showcases AnimeJapan 2025 Highlights

Anime continues to be a widely enjoyed genre by Netflix members worldwide; more than half of Netflix’s global members watched at least one anime title in 2024. At this year’s AnimeJapan, Netflix showcased its popular anime offerings and teased what’s to come in 2025. Here are the highlights!

Devil May Cry Studio: Studio Mir Premiere Date: April 3, 2025, on Netflix Premise: In this animated adaptation of the popular Capcom game and from the vision of Adi Shankar, sinister forces are at play to open the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.

Moonrise Studio: WIT Studio Premiere Date: April 10, 2025, on Netflix Premise: Caught in the heat of a cosmic conflict between Earth and the Moon, Jack (Chiaki Kobayashi) enlists as a scout in the Earth army seeking vengeance against the Moon’s rebel army but discovers an unexpected leader.

Fans of BEASTARS can look forward to Part 2 of the final season, along with a delightful adventure as My Melody & Kuromi brings the beloved Sanrio characters to life in a charming stop-motion animation series, premiering in July 2025!!!
