Writer: Dan Slott
Artist: Giuseppe Camuncoli

I was one of the main people to be excited for the Gawd of The Webs Peter Parker to come back. However I gotta say since his return…. its… been. kinda Mundane. We are getting more and more of the Black Cat out for revenge story sure, The awkward of the Ana Maria situation, as well as now the uber attraction that Parker has with new hero on the scene Cindy Moon for some reason, including the threat of Morlun slowly sinking in on them. That’s all true but it just doesn’t FEEL like that *sigh* (forgive me for this) Amazing… in this book yet. Perhaps it’s just the pacing that Slott has given us but the book doesn’t feel like the die hard Peter Parker book we all know.

To help Peter Out on this issue tho we got the Marvel Now MVP Nominee KAMALA KHAN on the fucking track. The issue starts out on the same page of Peter taking into account the workings of Doctor Ock when he was living his life. Ana Marie has peter realize some of Doc’s methods were in fact helpful and to not take that into account out of pride is just idiotic. Meanwhile we got some impostors making a mockery of Captain Marvel in her old costume. Peter gets wind of this and heads out buy you already know the PAY HOMAGE QUEEN Kamala is already springing into action.

MM

What ensues is the another of the best geek girl met up moments as the new Ms. Marvel hits parker with a thousand questions after he saves her from taking a nasty hit. Having Kamala in this issue really feels like getting that new up and coming hip-hop star to help you out on a track and push sales. This however is one guest spot I don’t mind because you know this is bout to be a classic team up and Parker is going to show Kamala the ropes. Although the enemy just transformed into a power ranger sized kaiju… so yeaaaaaah this is going be goooooooooooooood.

This was a fast issue but it is well worth the read.
