Rumors and posters have been floating around for a bit. Now, the gamer gods have smiled upon us in the form of a Mortal Kombat announcement. Mortal Kombat X has a brand new official trailer featuring a fight franchise mainstays Scorpion and Sub Zero. With a hot song from Wiz Khalifa, the trailer’s majority shows off some dazzling gameplay and features. It seems that personal trademark weapons have made a comeback as well as environments so destructible, you can beat your opponent’s ass with a tree branch. Though the official blurb claims it’s “fueled by next gen technology,” there has yet to be an announcement for specific platform that will carry the title.
Mortal Kombat X is scheduled for release in 2015. Check out the trailer:
