The ‘Kingdom Hearts III’ Theme Song Is Fire In the Booth

For years, Kingdom Hearts III has been like the Jay Electronica of gaming: much anticipated and dope in theory… if it ever drops. It’s become the obligatory “coming eventually” joint at the major conventions — we’ll get a couple minutes of gameplay, maybe a cinematic and the hope that a release date will rear its long awaited head.

The past year has seen the sequel becoming more of a reality with the apparent promise of a 2018 release and (my personal favorite tidbit), the promise of a Big Hero 6 world to play in. And now, because it simply wouldn’t be Kingdom Hearts without Utada Hikaru, we have new music. She’s fresh out of the booth with new heat titled, “Chikai” which translates to “Vow.” Check out a sample along with the English version “Don’t Think Twice” here.
