MY FAVORITE LITTLE MISFIT FAMILY IN ANIME IS BACK!!!
Upon the release of the new main trailer for SPY x FAMILY Season 3, Crunchyroll announced that it will stream the third season worldwide, excluding Asia, on October 4, with new episodes premiering weekly, the same-day as Japan.
The trailer throws us bits and pieces quickly:
Starlight Anya, I mean Anya Forger bringing her best gremlin-but-adorable energy to the table once again.
Anya’s Eden Academy crew including Damian and Becky still be the best supporting cast to their pink haired eccentric peer and classmate.
Loid and Yor working together to save Anya (and unsuspecting bystanders/victims) from something Anya pulls them into, once again!
The Headmaster of Eden Academy equally struggling to be a protective elder that children have to rely on and being baffled by the Academy’s most unique case: Anya Forger.
Loid meticulously finding new ways to reframe family time and Anya “enrichment sessions” aka studying time into his plans for his mission.
Yor reminding us that our stomach and colons are never built strong enough for her cooking–despite her best intentions.
Bond the (wonder dog) Forger being the best boi he can be, as worrying but faithful sidekick to Anya and canine member of the Forger family.
The lovely reminder that Loid is growing even more attached to his little family and one of my favorite comfort anime series returns because I need my wholesome and comedic feels! This is also a good time to recommend the first two seasons to anyone who needs an anime recommendation along with the Spy x Family Code: White film, which has been available to stream on the Crunchyroll app as well.
